St Paul’s Journey through Turkey & Patmos
17 Days
St Paul’s Journey through Turkey & Patmos starts in ancient Constantinople, modern Istanbul and continues with flying to Adana, the closest city to ancient Tarsus, birthplace of St Paul. After a diversion to see the marvellous frescoes in the rock-cut churches of Cappadocia follow in the saint’s footsteps to biblical Iconium (modern Konya), Derbe and Lystra. Next up is the Mediterranean coast, and the ancient city of Perge, starting point of Paul’s first missionary journey. The tour then tracks north, to visit the Seven Churches of the Revelation, which include ancient Ephesus. After an exciting boat trip to the Greek island of Patmos, where John wrote the Book of Revelation, the tour continues to Alexandria in Troas, legendary Troy and, finally, the charming lakeside town of Iznik, ancient Nicaea.

Wow…What a St Paul’s Journey through Turkey & Patmos experience! It was a wonderfully unique time of discovering both God’s beautiful creation in these country. How cool is it to see His Hand in Philippi, Smyrna and Ephesus. Some people see just piles of rocks and stones, but we see a Father’s Love for His Children…Sweet His-story! The guide was a bonus, Arzu is in our memories forever.
